BioA joint project between StoryofBen and Juror2 to merge hardware and fashion for the sake of ultimate badassery.
We scour the flea markets.
We live for the junk store.
We haggle with every antique dealer to find the coolest, oddest, most one-of-a-kind... uh... metal doodads that we can!
...then we jumble it all up and piece it back together to make our beautiful works of wearable art.
We've always been flea market junkies. Jen has been accessorizing her wardrobe with odd trinkets for as long as we've been dating. Nylons turned into arm sleeves, dog chain turned into bracelets... she'd come up with ideas that sounded 100% goofy, but they always turned out to be interesting and eye-catching.
When Ben jumped on board, SteamPunk Garage was born! Between the two of us we have quite a collection of trinkets just waiting to be disassembled, broken down, glued, soldered and woven back together. We give new trendy life to old forgotten junk. Bits of scrap metal and broken watches are our lifeblood.
